FIVE WISHES

$21

with C. Vlasto

Calendar Oct 26, 2017 at 6 pm

You might not be able to coax a genie out of a bottle and obtain three wishes, but you can touch the life of a loved one as they age or face a serious illness by providing them with their most important FIVE WISHES.

Five Wishes helps start and guide family conversations which are otherwise difficult to begin.  It is the most widely used advance directive or living will in America, often called the ‘Living Will with Heart and Soul” as it helps maintain their wishes with human dignity.   Choosing a document to express desires at the end of life is a very personal choice.  It is written in everyday language and helps people express their wishes in personal, spiritual, medical and legal matters.  Catherine Vlasto, LCSW, is a Clinical Social Worker for New Milford VNA & Hospice.  She has experience in working with families in discussing end of life decisions and assists her patients in living out their health goals.
